I'm so glad we didn't listen to ourselves when we thought we could use iTunes on shuffle (Horrible Idea). After a 15 minute conversation with Conor, we knew that he would be our DJ and an amazing job he did. No bland songs, the dance floor was never empty, song didn't catch on? changed the beat! We hired Get the Party Started to be our DJ for our wedding out in Banff. Conor was easy to work with from the start, he replied quickly to all our questions and had no problem adding on extra services for us when we requested a mic for our ceremony, etc. My parents had attended a wedding prior to ours and commented on how the DJ only played "rap/young people" music and they didn't find the reception much fun. Conor played an awesome selection of music and had everyone dancing the whole night from kids, young adults to the older crowd. Stop your DJ search, these are your guys. We e-mailed tons of DJ's and only a few even got back to us??? One word for this service.... AMAZING! Besides the booze, photographer and marriage commissioner this service was the best purchases my husband and I made for our wedding! Hire this DJ! I have planned corporate events for more than 10 years which required a DJ and I have never been as happy with a DJ provider as I was with Conor. He was organized, up-to-date with the current music trends and even fulfilled some weird song requests by some of our staff. We have a very diverse employee base and everyone in the company loved the music and Name that Tune which he organized and ran himself. Huge hit! The only complaint we got was that the hotel told us to shut down the music at 12:30. Conor is now on speed dial at my office for all our corporate events. :)

Phenomenal, outstanding, & blew away our expectations; We were introduced to Conor at a friend’s wedding in 2011 and knew right away he was the DJ for our wedding in September 2012.  From the moment we met with Conor we were at ease with the reception and knew our needs were in good hands.  With the exception of the important songs like first dances, and entrance song, we gave Conor the freedom to choose what he thought was best for garter toss, and bouquet toss.  His picks were great!  The guests loved him, and all the songs he played. He played everything from oldies to hard rock to please our guests.  He is very personable and easy going; he took requests, and even gave one of my bridesmaids the chance to sing Karaoke to us all.  Memories we’ll always have with us.  He was with us to the very end even when it was just a handful of us left at the reception.  Do NOT look at booking another DJ for your event’s as you will find no better than Get The Party Started.  My husband and I look forward to seeing Conor DJ at my friend’s wedding this coming summer 2013.

I hired Conor as a DJ for my sisters wedding.  He was FANTASTIC.  I didn't have a clue as to where to start with music selection, wedding party introduction, etc.  He was full of awesome ideas that were geared to all ages of the wedding.  He was very energetic, super friendly and kept the dance floor full all night!!  The only complaint I have is that he changed into a Flames Jersey (ew) at the end of the night when it was time to clean up.  Don't let his poor choice of hockey team fool you.  He is an awesome DJ!!  Conor will definitely be our first choice for entertainment at all events to come!

We were incredibly happy to have found "Get the Party Started", as Conor was perfect for our annual staff party. Every year we celebrate “Emergency Nurses”. This past year we used Get the Party Started to help us celebrate our night. I met with Conor prior to the event to organize and discuss the type of music and expectations we had for the night. They were fantastic in providing up-to-date music, classics and theme music that specific to the night. The sound and lights were amazing quality and it made our night a great success.
